Township Property Committee
Commissioner Dan Siegel chairs the Board of Commissioners, Township Property Committee, which is reviewing the various Township buildings and making recommendations for future development. The Committee has recommended that, because of severe infrastructure issues, the Township should replace the Public Works Yard (behind the former Haverford Mercy Hospital site) and construct a unified Municipal Building. The Committee recommended that the Muncipal Building be located at the current site of the Police Station and Skatium. Copies of the Committee's recommendations and presentations are available below. No decisions have been made as to the final outcome of these recommendations, which must be addressed by the Township staff, the Commissioners' Finance Committee and others.
